Orphan wolves from Slovakia given new home in Greek sanctuary
In November 2006 the successful transfer of two wolves from Slovakia to Greece was achieved through collaboration between Governmental authorities and non-Governmental organizations across three European countries.
The two wolves, named Dastin and Dag, were orphans which were
rescued by a hunter from Dobšina, Eastern Slovakia
We have been running "Wolves, Bears & Eagles" wildlife
holidays and hosting groups from the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers
(BTCV) since 2000.
